AZ SB1130

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 19-119 regarding deceptive mailings in elections conducted under state initiative and referendum law.

Prohibits individuals or committees from mailing or delivering documents that falsely claim authorization by or appear to be from state, county, city, town, or other political subdivision government.

Establishes civil penalty of twice the total cost of the mailing or $500, whichever is greater, for violations of the deceptive mailing prohibition.

Authorizes the attorney general, county attorney, city or town attorney, or other appropriate legal representative of the political subdivision to assess the civil penalty.
