Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 16-311 to modify residency requirements for legislative candidates.

Requires candidates for the legislature to be residents of the legislative district they propose to represent for at least six months before filing a nomination paper.

Maintains existing requirement that candidates for public office must reside in the county, district, or precinct they propose to represent at the time of filing.

Applies the six-month residency requirement specifically to legislative candidates while other candidates must meet residency requirements at the time of filing.
