Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 36-2006 to modify the Department of Health Services' monitoring authority over alcohol and drug screening, education, and treatment programs.

Replaces reference to A.R.S. Section 8-249 with Section 8-343 in the list of statutes under which alcohol and drug programs are used.

Maintains the Department of Health Services' existing duties to adopt standards for facility approval, approve facilities, establish referral standards, create standardized screening assessments, and set reporting and record-keeping requirements.
