Prohibits knowingly manufacturing, selling, purchasing, or possessing armor piercing bullets in Arizona.

Defines armor piercing bullets as handgun ammunition with cores made from tungsten alloys, steel, iron, brass, bronze, beryllium copper, or depleted uranium, and fully jacketed bullets larger than 22 caliber with jackets weighing more than 25% of total projectile weight.

Exempts ammunition cores composed of soft materials like lead, zinc alloys, frangible projectiles designed for sporting purposes, and other ammunition not classified as armor piercing under federal law.

Violations constitute a class 4 felony.

Provides exemption for persons authorized or permitted to possess armor piercing bullets under federal law.
