Health care providers licensed under Arizona law must make available to the public on request a single document listing direct pay prices for at least the 25 most common services, updated annually.

Health care facilities must make available to the public on request a single document listing direct pay prices for at least 50 most used diagnosis-related group codes and 50 most used outpatient service codes, updated annually.

Government agencies and entities cannot approve, disapprove, limit, or require reporting of direct pay prices set by health care providers or facilities.

Public or private entities managing health insurance or payment of health care services cannot penalize individuals, employers, providers, or facilities for direct payment of lawful health care services.

Sections 32-3216 and 36-437 are repealed effective December 31, 2020, and the measure requires voter approval before becoming law.
