AZ HB2009

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 8-864 regarding timing and consolidation of hearings for dependent children cases.

Permits the court to order or file motions for termination or permanent guardianship before the permanency hearing, with ability to consolidate or reorder hearings.

Requires the permanency hearing occur no later than the time prescribed in section 8-862, subsection A.

Requires the termination hearing occur no later than the time prescribed in section 8-862, subsection D, paragraph 2.

Requires the permanent guardianship hearing occur no later than the time prescribed in section 8-862, subsection F, paragraph 2 (technical correction from subsection E to F).
