AZ HB2012

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 8-652 regarding early intervention programs and services for infants and toddlers with developmental delays.

Designates the Department of Economic Security as the lead agency for coordinating statewide early intervention programs and services for infants and toddlers with developmental delays.

Requires the interagency coordinating council to advise and assist the Department of Economic Security in developing the statewide system and promoting cooperation among public agencies.

Mandates that the Department of Economic Security, Department of Education, Department of Health Services, Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System Administration, and Arizona Schools for the Deaf and the Blind enter into intergovernmental agreements to develop a comprehensive, coordinated early intervention system for infants and toddlers with or at risk of developmental delays and their families.

Makes a technical correction changing "school" to "schools" in reference to the Arizona state schools for the deaf and the blind.
