Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 22-402 to allow governing bodies of cities and towns to set the hours of operation and legal holidays for their municipal courts.

Maintains existing municipal court jurisdiction over violations of city or town ordinances and concurrent jurisdiction with justices of the peace over state law violations within city or town limits.

Preserves the option for cities and towns to establish intergovernmental agreements with justices of the peace or other municipalities to provide municipal court services as an alternative to maintaining their own courts.
