Requires each member of a health profession regulatory board to complete 12-hour training within one year of initial appointment, effective January 1, 2015.

Board members appointed before January 1, 2015 must complete training by January 1, 2016; training completed on or after January 1, 2014 on specified topics may count toward the requirement.

Training must cover governance and administrative management, disciplinary procedures, quasi-judicial proceedings, administrative procedure and rule adoption, and licensure matters specific to the health profession regulatory board.

Training may be provided by board staff, the Attorney General, Department of Administration, Auditor General, or other approved educational institutions.

Board actions cannot be challenged or invalidated because a member failed to complete the required training.
