AZ HB2302

Amends Arizona law to prohibit knowingly selling animals on public highways, streets, parks, or commercial private property without owner consent.

Removes the restriction that previously limited this prohibition only to counties with a population of 800,000 or more, making it apply statewide.

Exempts retail pet store sales, sales by pounds/humane societies/animal rescue organizations, sanctioned livestock events, and sales of livestock/poultry/ratites as defined in statute.

Establishes a civil penalty of no more than $50 for violations of the unlawful public sale of animals prohibition.
