Amends concealed weapon permit law to allow prosecutors who pass annual pistol qualification exams to carry firearms under the same protections as retired peace officers.

Extends law enforcement officers safety act benefits to municipal, county and state prosecutors meeting Arizona peace officer standards and training board firearms qualification requirements.

Modifies section 38-1102 to include prosecutors in the definition of "peace officer" for purposes of firearm carrying rights, provided they pass approved pistol qualifying examinations annually.

Clarifies that prosecutors meeting certification requirements are deemed to satisfy federal qualifications under 18 United States Code section 926C(c)(2) for carrying firearms.
