Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 36-694 to require the newborn screening program to include testing for Krabbe disease.

Mandates the department of health services establish and maintain the test as part of the existing newborn screening program despite any other provisions in statute.

Applies to all newborns reported at birth, with results reported to the department of health services according to departmental rules.

Maintains existing requirements for testing of other congenital disorders, hearing tests, and reporting of results to a central database.
