Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 9-467 regarding building permits issued by cities and towns.

Cities and towns must transmit copies of building permits to the county assessor and department of revenue, including permit number, issue date, and parcel number.

Prohibits cities and towns from requiring a subsequent owner to obtain a permit for unpermitted construction by a prior owner, except when necessary to enforce ordinances affecting public health or safety.

Cities and towns may not request or require applicants for building permits to waive any rights under Arizona Title 12, Chapter 8, Article 2.1.
