Expedited licensure for military spouses: Licenses or certificates must be issued within 72 hours (if no criminal background check required) or 120 hours (if criminal background check required) for spouses of active duty armed forces members relocating to Arizona on a permanent change of station.

Reciprocity eligibility requirements: Applicants must hold a current license or certification in good standing from at least one other state in the same discipline and practice level, with no revoked licenses, pending complaints, or unresolved disciplinary actions in any jurisdiction.

Removal of prior experience requirements: Eliminates the previous one-year minimum licensure requirement and removes requirements for regulating entities to verify minimum education, work experience, clinical supervision, and examination passage by the other state.

Regulating entity authority: Regulating entities retain discretion to deny licenses if out-of-state standards are not substantially equivalent to Arizona's standards on a case-by-case basis, and may not issue licenses through reciprocity agreements if standards are not met.

Licensing compact exemption: Section does not apply to regulating entities that have entered into a licensing compact with another state.
