AZ HB2553

Prohibits the state of Arizona and any county, city, school district, or other political subdivision from claiming, accepting, or participating in incentive programs offered by public utilities for solar or wind energy devices.

Extends the prohibition to contractors and third-party vendors working on behalf of these state and local government entities.

Defines "state" to include all state departments, boards, commissions, institutions, agencies, and universities under the jurisdiction of the Arizona Board of Regents.

Amends Title 40 of the Arizona Revised Statutes by adding Chapter 8 (Energy Incentives) to establish these restrictions.
