Amends Arizona Revised Statutes § 41-1821 to modify the membership composition and requirements of the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board.

Changes the population threshold for chief of city police appointments from 60,000 persons to 225,000 persons, using the 2010 U.S. decennial census as the baseline for determining city population.

Updates language in the statute for grammatical consistency, including changing "shall be" to "is," "upon" to "on," and "which" to "that."

Allows the two chiefs of city police currently serving on the board when the act takes effect to continue serving until the expiration of their normal terms.
