Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 8-807 to expand disclosure of Child Protective Services (CPS) information to help investigate and prosecute violations involving domestic violence as defined in section 13-3601 or violent sexual assault as prescribed in section 13-1423.

Allows law enforcement agencies and prosecutors to access CPS information for domestic violence and violent sexual assault investigations in addition to existing child abuse and neglect investigations.

Maintains existing confidentiality protections and requirements for the department to consult with county attorneys before releasing CPS information that could harm criminal investigations.

Preserves the ability of individuals to challenge denied CPS information requests through superior court special actions and in camera review by judges.

Effective upon approval by the Governor on April 16, 2014.
