Appropriates unspecified funds from the state general fund in fiscal year 2014-2015 to the gang and immigration intelligence team enforcement mission border security and law enforcement subaccount for distribution to county sheriffs.

County sheriffs may submit claims by October 31, 2014 to the Department of Public Safety for reimbursement of expenses incurred in fiscal year 2012-2013 for border security law enforcement purposes, including border personnel costs.

Department of Public Safety shall review, adjust if necessary, and approve submitted claims before payment from the appropriated funds.

If appropriated funds are insufficient to pay all approved claims in full, the Department shall distribute payments to county sheriffs on a pro rata basis.
