Expands the tax credit under section 43-1089.01 to include contributions to public schools for curriculum and materials for science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) programs, in addition to existing extracurricular activities and character education programs.

Maintains existing tax credit limits: $200 for single individuals or heads of household, $300 for married couples filing jointly in 2005, and $400 for married couples filing jointly in 2006 and subsequent years.

Requires public schools to report annually to the department by February 28 the number and dollar amount of fees and contributions received, and spending categorized by activity, program, or STEAM curriculum and materials.

Preserves existing provisions allowing taxpayers to carry forward unused credits for up to five consecutive taxable years and allowing site councils or administrators to determine use of undesignated contributions.
