Amends section 38-846 of Arizona Revised Statutes regarding death benefits under the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS).

Adds new provision requiring that for members killed in the line of duty or dying from line-of-duty injuries, the actuarial present value of surviving spouse and eligible child benefits shall be deposited directly into the employer account and charged against fund investment earnings before distribution to employers.

Maintains existing provisions for surviving spouse pensions, child pensions, and guardian/conservator pensions based on member death circumstances and family eligibility status.

Clarifies that "killed in the line of duty" excludes deaths by suicide and requires the death be the direct and proximate result of public safety duties.
