Concurrent memorial urging the United States Congress to fully fund the Impact Aid Program, which reimburses local educational agencies for lost tax revenue due to tax-exempt federal property.

Arizona receives the highest Impact Aid funding nationally, supporting 79 school districts and charter schools serving 42,889 federally connected students out of a total enrollment of 242,624.

The Budget Control Act of 2011 sequestration resulted in a $67.5 million federal cut to Impact Aid mid-school year, with Arizona losing $11,051,571, forcing school districts to reduce transportation, maintenance, technology, staff, and enrichment programs.

Requests that Congress enact legislation to fully fund the Impact Aid Program to relieve the local taxpayer burden caused by federal land ownership and ensure high quality public education.

Directs the Arizona Secretary of State to transmit copies of the memorial to the President of the U.S. Senate, Speaker of the U.S. House, and each Member of Congress from Arizona.
