AZ HCR2008

Proposes a constitutional measure for voter approval relating to the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS).

Adds section 36-2901.10 to Arizona Revised Statutes prohibiting any statutory or administrative expansion of AHCCCS eligible persons.

Requires the Joint Legislative Budget Committee to certify that any expansion will be budget neutral for the next 20 fiscal years before it can take effect.

Directs the Secretary of State to submit the proposition to voters at the next general election.
