AZ HCR2009

Proposes a constitutional measure for voter approval that would prohibit the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) from using state general fund or other chapter-established funds to pay for services to childless adults.

Directs the Secretary of State to submit the proposition to voters at the next general election as provided by the Arizona Constitution.

Introduced by Representative Seel in the Arizona House of Representatives during the 51st Legislature's second regular session in 2014.

Would amend Title 36, Chapter 29, Article 1 of the Arizona Revised Statutes by adding section 36-2901.10 to codify the prohibition on AHCCCS funding for childless adults.
