AZ HCR2012

Changes the Arizona House of Representatives from two members elected from each of thirty legislative districts to one member elected from each of sixty house districts.

Establishes that each senate district shall consist of exactly two separate house districts contained completely within that senate district, maintaining thirty senate districts.

Applies the changes to redistricting that begins in 2021 and shall be fully applicable for legislative districts used in the 2022 general election and all subsequent legislative elections.

Proposes an amendment to Article IV, Part 2, Section 1 of the Arizona Constitution, subject to voter approval and gubernatorial proclamation.
