AZ HCR2021

Proposes an amendment to Article VII, Section 6 of the Arizona Constitution regarding residency of military personnel stationed within the state.

Replaces outdated language referring to "soldier, seaman, or marine, in the army or navy" with modernized term "military personnel" of the United States.

Maintains the constitutional provision that military personnel stationed at military or naval installations within Arizona shall not be deemed state residents.

Replaces the gender-specific pronoun "his" with gender-neutral language in the residency provision.

Requires submission of the amendment to Arizona voters at the next general election per Article XXI of the state constitution.
