Arizona legislature formally applies to Congress under Article V of the U.S. Constitution to call a convention for proposing constitutional amendments.

Convention shall be limited to three subjects: imposing fiscal restraints on the federal government, limiting federal government power and jurisdiction, and limiting terms of office for federal officials.

Application constitutes a continuing application that remains valid until at least two-thirds of state legislatures submit applications on the same subjects.

Secretary of State must transmit the resolution to the President of the U.S. Senate, Speaker of the House, Arizona's Congressional delegation, and presiding officers of all state legislatures.
