Proclaims the first Friday of September of each year as Ovarian Cancer Awareness Day in Arizona.

Recognizes that ovarian cancer is the most lethal gynecologic cancer with approximately 22,240 new cases diagnosed annually and 14,400 deaths per year in the United States.

Notes that 93% of women diagnosed in early stages survive 5 years, yet fewer than 15% of cases are diagnosed early, with three-quarters of patients diagnosed at advanced stages (III and IV).

Acknowledges Arizona's potential as an ovarian cancer research center, highlighting the University of Arizona Cancer Center in Phoenix and other state institutions as leaders in treatment and research.

Directs the Secretary of State to transmit copies of the resolution to the Governor, state health agencies, and medical researchers and organizations focused on ovarian cancer.
