AZ SB1014

Requires courts to place persons convicted of personal possession or use of controlled substances on probation if evidence was obtained while they sought medical assistance for their own drug overdose or while seeking medical assistance for another person experiencing an overdose.

Exempts individuals eligible under this provision from the restriction in section 13-901.01, subsection H, paragraph 4 that would otherwise limit probation eligibility.

Mandates automatic setting aside of the judgment of guilt upon successful completion of probation for individuals placed on probation under this section.
