Director may issue up to 25 beer festival licenses per calendar year for each licensed domestic microbrewery, allowing up to 75 total calendar days per microbrewery to sample and sell beer products on-premise and in original containers off-premise.

Beer festival license fee is $15 per event, subject to approval by the board of supervisors for unincorporated areas or the governing body of a city or town for events within those jurisdictions.

Director may issue beer fair licenses for sanctioned county or state fairs to domestic microbreweries with fair organizer permission, authorizing sampling and sales of microbrewery products on and off the fair premises.

Beer fair license fee is $15 per event.

Legislation requires a two-thirds vote of both houses of the legislature to pass and becomes effective upon governor's signature or three-fourths legislative vote if vetoed.
