AZ SB1027

Establishes the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport study committee with seven members: two senators from different parties, two representatives from different parties, and three public members appointed by the governor, senate president, and house speaker.

Committee shall study the airport's expansion ability, capacity to serve a larger metropolitan area, feasibility of additional airports to relieve air traffic and road congestion, and economic impacts of expansion on access, efficiency, and availability for commercial interests and the public.

Committee must submit findings and recommendations to the governor, senate president, and house speaker by November 1, 2016, with a copy provided to the secretary of state.

Committee is repealed effective September 30, 2017.
