Declares it unprofessional conduct for health professionals to falsely claim or allow others to claim they are board certified as specialists, or to claim certifications that are no longer current.

Prohibits health professionals from advertising board certification without disclosing the full name of the specific agency, organization, or entity that granted the certification.

Defines "board certification" as specialty status granted by either the public regulatory body licensing the health professional or a private organization recognized by a national professional association or the licensing body.

Applies restrictions to health professionals' direct claims as well as claims made by their staff, employers, or representatives that they know and approve.

Defines "advertisement" to include billboards, brochures, business cards, pamphlets, media, directories, and mail solicitations, excluding materials created by entities regulated under title 20 that provide network provider information.
