Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 28-1822 regarding selection of designated representatives to a multistate highway transportation agreement cooperating committee.

Allows the chairperson of the senate transportation committee and the chairperson of the house transportation committee to designate other legislators or state agency officials to serve as their designated representatives.

Requires each house committee chairperson to designate one alternative designated representative from among legislators or state agency officials to serve during the chairperson's absence.

Changes the language for alternative representatives from "their absence" to "the chairperson's absence" for clarity and grammatical correction.
