Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 25-1004 to add "of 1978" to references to the Indian Child Welfare Act (25 U.S.C. Section 1903) for technical clarification and accuracy.

Clarifies that child custody proceedings involving Indian children as defined by the Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978 are not subject to Arizona's child custody chapter to the extent governed by federal law.

Requires Arizona courts to treat Indian tribes the same as U.S. states when applying provisions of the child custody chapter and related articles.

Mandates recognition and enforcement of child custody determinations made by tribes under Arizona's jurisdictional standards through the chapter's enforcement provisions.
