Amends Section 27-514 of the Arizona Revised Statutes regarding the oil and gas conservation commission.

Modifies the appointment terms for commission members to be five-year terms expiring on the third Monday in January, rather than the previous staggered system.

Removes outdated language referencing the initial appointments of commission members from 1960.

Maintains the commission structure of five appointed members plus the state land commissioner serving ex officio without voting rights.

Preserves compensation provisions for appointive members based on actual days spent performing official duties as determined under Section 38-611.
