Requires subdividers selling one or more lots in subdivisions located outside active management areas to record a water adequacy or inadequacy statement with the county recorder beginning January 1, 2015.

The recorded document must contain the legal description of the subdivision and state whether the water supply serving the subdivision has been determined to be adequate or inadequate by the Department of Water Resources.

If the Department of Water Resources subsequently determines a subdivision's water supply is adequate after initial recording, the water provider must notify affected customers of that determination.

Exempts subdividers who are already required to provide recorded water adequacy disclosures under section 33-406 from this requirement.

Defines "subdivider" using the same meaning prescribed in section 32-2101.
