Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 41-1837 regarding financial responsibility for emergency medical services provided to indigent patients.

Removes language requiring counties to be liable "pursuant to section 11-297.02" for costs of ambulance transport and medical services at emergency receiving facilities.

Maintains that counties remain liable to ambulance services and facilities for costs of emergency care for indigent patients until transfer to a county hospital or designated facility.

Preserves existing exemption for air ambulances and ambulance helicopters operated by the department, with no charge to patients for emergency care provided by department personnel.
