Amends Arizona Revised Statutes sections 38-502 and 38-503 regarding public officer conflict of interest disclosures and prohibitions.

Modifies the definition of "remote interest" to add a new category for public officers or employees with a personal financial interest of less than $500 in actions taken in the discharge of official duties.

Changes the threshold for "member of a trade, business, occupation, profession or class" from ten members to one hundred members to qualify as a remote interest.

Updates statutory language throughout to replace outdated pronoun usage ("he," "which") with gender-neutral alternatives ("the recipient," "that").

Clarifies that school district and community college governing boards cannot employ persons who are current governing board members or spouses of governing board members.
