Removes the requirement that a ticket must have been "purchased for the purpose of resale" to trigger the unlawful resale price cap prohibition.

Increases the geographical restriction zone from 200 feet to 500 feet around stadium, arena, theater, or event venue entries and contiguous parking areas where inflated ticket sales are prohibited.

Elevates the penalty for violating ticket resale price laws from a petty offense to a class 1 misdemeanor.

Clarifies that "event" means a theatrical production, concert, sporting event, or other entertainment event.
