Requires prosecutors to file notice of intent if a firearm may endanger the victim or other household members, with court hearings within 10 days to determine if the firearm should be returned.

Requires peace officers to inform domestic violence victims in writing of available protection procedures including orders of protection, emergency numbers, and local domestic violence resources.
