Amends Arizona Revised Statutes § 13-405 to modify justification standards for use of deadly physical force.

Allows a person to use deadly physical force when a reasonable person would believe it is immediately necessary to protect against another's use or attempted use of unlawful deadly physical force.

Eliminates the general duty to retreat when a person is lawfully present and not engaged in unlawful conduct.

Creates two exceptions to the no-duty-to-retreat provision: applies to persons who leave a safe place and actively pursue another person under circumstances that could lead to confrontation, and to persons who pursue another after a law enforcement officer requests retreat to safety.
