Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 32-1121 regarding exemptions from contractor licensing requirements.

Modifies the exemption for property owners who improve their own property by removing restrictions that previously limited the exemption to owner-occupied structures not intended for sale or rent.

Clarifies that owners of property can improve structures on their property and do the work themselves, with their own employees, or with duly licensed contractors without obtaining a contractor license.

Maintains existing exemptions for various categories including government representatives, public utilities, materialmen, architects, engineers, and persons performing work under $1,000 in aggregate contract price.

Preserves restrictions that exemptions do not apply to fire safety work, mechanical/electrical/plumbing work connected to fire safety, or any work involving connections to natural gas, propane, or other gaseous fuel supplies.
