Recognizes Sierra Vista Fire Department's Chief Randy Redmond as the 2014 Arizona Fire Chief of the Year, awarded by the Arizona Fire Chiefs Association on March 25, 2014.

Acknowledges Chief Redmond's nearly thirty years of service in the fire service and his implementation of an automatic aid system for emergency responders in southern Arizona.

Honors Chief Redmond's efforts to secure funding for the Arizona State Fire School through a proposed special license plate and his work to establish a Mutual Aid Resource Coordinator position in the Fire Marshal's Office.

Recognizes his long-term leadership roles as a member and former chairman of the Arizona State Fire Training Committee and as an active board member of the Arizona Fire Chiefs Association.

Unanimously adopted by the Arizona Senate on April 15, 2014, expressing gratitude for his exemplary service to the fire service and citizens of Arizona.
