Requires persons responsible for burial arrangements to comply with a decedent's written disposition wishes if the decedent has made payment arrangements and the instructions are clear and unambiguous.

Permits a decedent to direct in writing the disposition of remains and specify funeral goods and services before death, which cannot be materially changed except by subsequent signed and dated statement by the decedent or if required by law.

Limits enforcement of decedent's wishes to the extent payment has been arranged; allows responsible persons to voluntarily assume costs for remaining instructions not pre-paid.

Provides that funeral establishments, crematories, and cemeteries acting in good faith on authorized disposition instructions are not subject to civil liability or disciplinary action.

Applies to funeral and disposition arrangements made on or after the bill's effective date.
