Repeals the authority of the Arizona Department of Corrections director to establish a one-time background check fee for visitors entering department facilities to visit prisoners.

Removes the provision that allowed the director to waive all or part of visitor background check fees.

Eliminates the requirement that visitor background check fees be deposited into the Department of Corrections Building Renewal Fund established under section 41-797.

Makes technical amendments to section 41-797 to remove references to the visitor fee revenue source from the building renewal fund.
