AZ HB2420

Establishes a statewide competitive government program within the governor's office of strategic planning and budgeting to encourage market forces in state service delivery while preventing unfair competition between state agencies and private sector.

Requires the competitive government process be used whenever a state agency privatizes a state function or program currently provided by state employees.

Directs the Arizona Board of Regents and community college districts to develop comparable competitive government programs and submit annual reports to the office by October 1 of each year summarizing all competitive government activities.

Requires reports from the Arizona Board of Regents and community college districts to be submitted electronically beginning October 1, 2015.

Authorizes the office to require additional oral or written status reports from state agencies regarding competitive government activities as needed.
