Prohibits mental health providers from engaging in sexual orientation change efforts with patients under 18 years of age.

Defines mental health providers as psychiatrists licensed under chapter 13, psychologists licensed under chapter 19.1, and behavioral health professionals licensed under chapter 33 of Arizona Revised Statutes.

Defines sexual orientation change efforts as practices seeking to change a patient's sexual orientation, including efforts to alter behaviors, gender expressions, or eliminate same-sex attractions or feelings.

Excludes from the prohibition psychotherapies that provide acceptance, support, coping skills, social support, or identity exploration without seeking to change sexual orientation.

Subjects violating providers to disciplinary action by appropriate regulatory boards.
