AZ HCR2006

Proposes constitutional amendment allowing the Arizona legislature to remove nonelected state officers, judges, and justices by a two-thirds vote in each house.

Applies to judges of the Arizona Court of Appeals and Superior Court who are not elected, justices of the Arizona Supreme Court, and heads of state agencies, departments, boards, commissions, committees, or councils who are not elected.

Requires the house originating the removal resolution to deliver a certified copy to the Secretary of State, who notifies the Governor.

Must be approved by voters at the next general election before becoming effective.
