Ratifies the proposed 27th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, known as the Equal Rights Amendment, which was adopted by Congress on March 22, 1972.

The amendment provides that equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any state on account of sex.

Grants Congress power to enforce the amendment through appropriate legislation.

Specifies the amendment takes effect two years after ratification and requires ratification by three-fourths of states within seven years of congressional submission.

Directs Arizona's Secretary of State to transmit the ratification resolution to the President of the U.S. Senate and Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.
