Concurrent resolution supporting violence prevention efforts in Arizona and the "Guts to be Good" (G2BG) model developed by Peer Solutions.

Cites alarming Arizona youth statistics including 59.6% increase in child abuse rates from 2009-2010, 60.8% of eighth graders witnessing violence, and 18.7% of high school students seriously considering suicide (highest in nation).

Endorses the G2BG model's five core principles: speaking up about harm, treating everyone with respect and kindness, practicing courtesy, valuing honesty and seeking help, and volunteering to assist those in need.

Commits the Legislature to support Arizona families, schools, and communities in preventing violence by adopting these positive solutions and empowering youth to prevent violence before it occurs.
