Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 32-1687 regarding continuing education requirements for licensed dispensing opticians.

Increases the maximum continuing education requirement from twelve hours to twenty-one hours within a three-year period.

Allows opticians to satisfy continuing education through home study courses or seminars without requiring membership in a professional association.

Board shall establish specific rules prescribing the form and content of continuing education focused on current developments, skills and procedures in the field.
